Stupka Chiropractic is in the heart of McPherson, Kansas. My husband and I, both chiropractic physicians, started our family business four years ago. Our clientele ranges from newborn to 96. We offer many therapies along with an adjustment, such as acupuncture, spinal decompression, ultrasound and cold laser.
Tell me about your goals/vision for your business.
We aimed to offer something innovative and new to McPherson, as a facility that offers the newest therapies for our patients. We are the fifth cryosauna in Kansas and second Impact Cryotherapy location in the state. In the future, we aim to partner with surrounding colleges and athletic divisions to help athletes stay in the game, and add additional options to help everyday patients.
Why the decision to add cryotherapy?
We did research over the past year to determine the need for this cryosauna in our office, but the question was simply, “When?” Several peers encouraged us to try a cryotherapy session in an Impact cryosauna. After we stepped in one, we figured “now” answered that question.

Impact Cryotherapy was easy to work with and very responsive and educated about cryotherapy. Post-purchase, Impact is exceptionally responsive to questions about the cryosauna as well as patient education.
How has cryotherapy been received by members?
Our members love it! Five weeks into having the cryosauna running, we continually increase our weekly gas supply. We have clientele that have been through numerous treatments for chronic pain and now they claim to experience relief they have yet to receive elsewhere.
How do you promote the cryotherapy?
Facebook, Chamber of Commerce, word of mouth and ads in the local county mailers.
